A Moment Of Calm

“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness.

Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”

Scott Adams

During this difficult time we can all use a little “Moment of Calm”. Be kind to one another, appreciated the little things in life that make you happy, take time to be alone but remember we are all in this together.

Life used to be simple, or at least that’s how it feels now as we all struggle with a global pandemic. COVID-19 has changed the way we live, work, interact with our fellow man and deal with the fear of the unknown. “The New Normal”, “Social Distancing”, “We Are In This Together”, “Distance Learning”. These are just a few of the mantras we are told to practice to see us through to the other side of the daily turmoil we all face.

Joblessness, isolation, loss of a loved one. These are the harsh realities that have been thrust upon us by a viral pandemic that to this day has infected 1,274,022 people, has taken 69,468 lives and 272,078 have recovered globally. We can expect things to get worse over the next couple weeks before we can begin to see the “the flattening of the curve.”

I don’t have the answer as to how this will all play out in the end, because we don’t when there will be an end. What I do know is that we can all do our part to try and get through this because “We Are In This Together.” Thank and pray for the brave people on the frontlines that are doing their very best everyday to battle this insidious virus. Hope our leaders find a quick path to better days. Be kind to one another and help where ever possible to easy other burdens and sorrow.

A Moment Of Calm

"Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."
